Payment: We accept Credit and Debit cards and PayPal. All bookings pay a 50% non-refundable deposit. Balance needs to be paid 1 week before cruise departure.

Cancellations: Please let us know ASAP if you wish to cancel or change your booking. This is so we can offer your booking to another person(s) if we manage to re-sell your cancelled booking we will offer you a full refund.

Cancellations by us: Occasionally we may have to cancel or amend a cruise due to circumstances beyond our control. if we need to cancel a full refund will be offered.

Smoking: We do not permit smoking anywhere on The Whistling Swan.

Canal Closures: Occasionally canals close due to emergency repair, floods or drought. In the event of this happening we will try and re-route

Disembarkment: On your final day of your cruise we require you to leave the boat after breakfast.

Liability: The Whistling Swan Hotel accept no responsibility for damage or loss of personal property.

Dogs: we want your dog to be welcome onboard, however any damage to items there will be a charge to replace them.

Life Jackets: Are provided for adults if you have your own please bring it with you. We recommend wearing your life jacket whilst outside the boat and assisting on locks and helming.

What to bring: As space is limited onboard only bring essential clothing such as waterproof clothing and a small bag for other clothing items.

Electricity: 240 volt is limited, please do not bring hairdryers or similar as the supply wont be able to cope!

Water: Please use water sparingly as we have a limited amount

Toilet: The toilets onboard are pump out and are easy to use almost like a normal toilet!
